Our client, a children's residential service, is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Practitioner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team in a rewarding and dynamic environment.
The Role:
- Provide day-to-day care and support for the young people, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships and promote trust, consistency, and structure.
- Work closely with the team to implement individual care plans.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment that encourages personal growth.
Shift Pattern:
- 1-on, 2-off rota (may require waking at work on your first day off).
- Shift times: 09:30-22:00 / 09:30-23:00 - Sleep - 07:00-10:00
Requirements:
- Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic
- DBS check (safeguarding clearance)
- Experience of working with vulnerable children, and young people.
Contract length: 3-6 months (with expectation of an ongoing extension)
Rate of Pay: £13.69-16.81
Hours: Full time, 37 hours each week.
