Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Brokerage Officer for a Local Authority Client in Wiltshire.
In this role, you will source and manage care services, build relationships with colleagues and providers, and ensure timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused solutions.
Duties:
- Source and coordinate care services to meet individual needs efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners, social care teams, and providers.
- Monitor service capacity, maintain accurate records, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support projects, policies, and processes to improve brokerage efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience sourcing and coordinating care packages or services to meet individual needs.
- Proven ability to negotiate with providers and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Skilled in monitoring service capacity, using data to inform decisions, and ensuring best value.
- Experience working closely with social care teams, commissioners, and other stakeholders to deliver timely and person-centred solutions.
What's on offer:
Salary: £33ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
