We are currently looking for an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming school in Blackpool.
This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in education or for somebody with transferable experience such as care work, youth work, coaching, tutoring or nursery support. You do not need formal school experience to be considered, but you must be passionate about supporting children and helping them to thrive.
As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils in the classroom, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed.
Your role will include:

• Supporting pupils with learning and classroom activities
• Helping to manage behaviour positively and effectively
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence
• Assisting the class teacher with general classroom duties

To be considered, you should:

• Have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
• Be patient, adaptable and reliable
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be confident building relationships with pupils and staff
• Be committed to supporting children's learning and development
