We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join primary schools across Burnley. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.
You will work with pupils across EYFS to Year 6, supporting those with additional needs including SEN, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. The role involves assisting in lessons, providing 1:1 and small group support, and implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (essential)
- Relevant qualification in education or childcare (highly desirable)
- Experience with SEN, SEMH, or challenging behaviour (preferred)
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional under pressure
- Flexible to work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
