We are recruiting for a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work within specialist SEND and SEMH provisions across Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area.
This is a full-time, term-time only position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with temp-to-perm opportunities available for successful candidates.
You will support students who may present challenging behaviour, helping them regulate emotions, engage positively in learning, and develop essential social skills. Building strong, professional relationships will be key to success in this role.
Role Responsibilities
Providing 1:1 and small group behavioural support
Implementing behaviour support strategies and individual plans
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Supporting students to access learning effectively
Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams
Requirements
Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English
Available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (term time only)
Able to travel across Liverpool and surrounding Merseyside areas
Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
Willing to apply and pay for an Enhanced Child DBS and register it on the Update Service
Calm, patient, resilient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
