Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 AM - 03:30 PM)
Salary: From £106 per day

With primary and secondary sites, they provide diverse indoor and outdoor learning opportunities and extracurricular activities tailored to each student's interests and abilities.

Your role as a SEMH Mentor: As a SEMH Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students facing SEMH challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong and trusting relationships with students to foster a sense of safety and belonging.
• Delivering one-on-one and group support sessions to address individual SEMH needs.
• Collaborating with teaching staff to create tailored learning plans that consider SEMH requirements.
• Providing emotional support and strategies to help students manage their mental and emotional well-being.
• Encouraging a positive learning environment and promoting engagement in class.

Requirements:

• Experience in a related role or working with students with SEMH needs is advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Effective communication and active listening abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help students overcome their SEMH challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
