My Local Authority client in Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Assistant Director of Commissioning on a Contract basis.
The role will support the Council's Commissioning function through strong, astute leadership, helping to deliver transformational changes and service improvements.
About the role:
Based in Yorkshire (Hybrid):
- This role will focus primarily on adult's commissioning, with elements of children's commissioning included.
- Lead on delivering substantial service improvement of the commissioning function.
- Ensure Value for Money whilst managing complex commissioning programmes.
- Provide high-level direction and strategic advice on commissioning to achieve organisational goals and improve service outcomes.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Proven experience at AD / Director level within either Adult's or Children's Commissioning.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the full commissioning cycle.
- Demonstrable experience delivering transformation and service improvement.
- Experience in local authority environments

- Salary: £600-£750 per day, inside IR35
