Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Assessment and Move on Worker for a Local Authority Client in North London.
In this role you will assess the needs of service users, create tailored move-on plans, and support individuals with complex needs to transition from homelessness into more stable housing.
Duties:
- Assess needs and risks of service users and develop tailored move-on plans.
- Support with essentials such as ID, benefits, and access to health or support services.
- Promote safety and wellbeing through harm reduction approaches and regular safety planning.
- Work flexibly on a rota to provide consistent support and enable successful move-on within 12 weeks.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Working with rough sleepers or people with complex needs in housing or support services.
- Carrying out assessments and creating personalised support or move-on plans.
- Knowledge of housing options, welfare benefits, and local support services.
- Managing challenging behaviours with resilience, empathy, and professionalism.
What's on offer:
Salary: £25ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
