Are you a proactive, commercially minded professional with a passion for building strong client relationships? Spencer Clarke Group are working with a fast-growing organisation in the environmental services sector who are seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with their commercial clients. This is a client-facing, strategic role where your contribution directly drives account growth and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a portfolio of existing commercial clients
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure contractual obligations are met and coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling products or services, and prepare proposals/quotations
  • Offer strategic advice by understanding client business needs and analysing market trends
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements in all client dealings
  • Maintain accurate records, generate reports, and support internal teams with account activity and invoicing queries
  • Follow the full sales process "cradle to grave," supporting documentation and collections for all completed jobs


About you

  • Experience in account management, commercial sales, or client-facing roles within environmental services, waste management, or similar sectors
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations, regulations, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
  • Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, team-oriented, and strategic in your approach
