We are looking for caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary schools across Burnley. This role involves working closely with children on an individual basis, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Experience supporting children with SEN and/or SEMH needs is essential. A relevant qualification is desirable but not required for the right candidate with strong practical experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support in the classroom
- Assist with learning activities and emotional regulation
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience with SEN/SEMH children
- Patient, resilient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Both full-time and part-time roles are available, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
