1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary schools across Blackburn. You will work closely with individual children, helping them engage with learning and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
• Assist with tailored learning activities
• Support children with SEN/SEMH needs
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
• Work with teachers and support staff

Requirements:

• Experience with SEN/SEMH children is essential
• Relevant qualifications are desirable
• Strong communication and patience
• A proactive and supportive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
