Hi, I’m Sam!
Originally from Walsall, I started my career as an electrician and it was only when I moved to Preston that I joined the wonderful world of recruitment, specialising in Construction & Trades nationwide.
Working as an electrician has really helped me to excel as a recruiter because I have a full understanding of what my clients and candidates are looking for. I can relate to them on a personal level which allows me to provide a more comprehensive service.
If my client has a particularly challenging role to recruit for, I use my contacts and knowledge of the industry to help find ‘needles in haystacks.’

Outside of work, I’m a family man and when my young children aren’t keeping me busy, I’m normally playing some kind of sport, either football, cricket or golf. I'm also a big football fan but there are highs and lows to supporting West Ham (as you can imagine!)
