We’re over the moon to announce that we have been shortlisted for five awards at this year’s REC Awards

Held annually in London, the REC Awards is exclusively for Recruitment & Employment Confederation members, and the categories recognise both individual achievement and company-wide success.

Not only are we immensely proud to have been shortlisted for this year's Community Impact of the Year and Best Company to work for (Up to 100 employees) award, 3 of our outstanding consultants have also been individually recognised.

Education recruitment specialist, Niall Murphy, and SEND recruitment specialist, Richard Shorrock, will go head to head to be crowned Temporary Recruiter of the Year, whilst public sector recruitment specialist, John Shorrock, is up for Agency Star of the Year.

After entering the Community Impact category for the first time this year, we are extremely pleased to be shortlisted for this award. In the last 12 months, we have built a playground for a local school, delivered 120 presents to a SEND school and donated hundreds of school uniforms

We have also supported Fylde Food Bank and Helping Hearts Fylde with monthly donations of food and toiletries to support their work in our local community.

Our Managing Director, Mike Shorrock, said, “I’m very proud and humbled to be shortlisted for five awards. Recruitment is a very competitive industry so being shortlisted is a win in itself.”

Mike continued, “Three of those awards recognise specific individuals within the business which is a testament to the whole team who work incredibly hard every day.”

Last year, Richard Shorrock scooped Temporary Recruiter of the Year and the Agency Star of the Year, so we’re crossing everything for another successful year.
