SEND Tribunal Officer
Salary: £360 - £425 per day
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
Hybrid working with 2 days in the office minimum.
Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a local authority in London to support with the recruitment of a SEND Tribunal Officer.
Role Brief: Provide leadership for tribunal and formal disagreements, which will include preparing cases for tribunal, liaising with Legal Services, SEND services and multi-agency practitioners, represent the Local Authority in a legal environment, presenting Local Authority cases at SENDT.
What we’re looking for:
- Experienced Tribunal officers who have experience of representing local authorities at hearings.
- Experience in coordinating responses to SENDIST appeals, representing the Local Authority, and working closely with legal advisers. Knowledge of applications for judicial review and handling complaints.
