SEND Tribunal and Mediation Officer - South East
£400 per day
3-6 month initial contract

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEND Tribunal and Mediation Officer to work with our local authority client in the South East of England to lead on dispute resolution and complex casework.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working within Local Authority SEND Mediations
- Strong knowledge of up to date SEND legislation including the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice 2015
- Must have experience representing at hearings and also chairing mediation meetings
Duties include:
- Represent the council at SEND Tribunals and defend proposed service provision
- Monitor and track tribunal cases, complaints, and outcomes to inform service improvements.
- Manage complex casework, including mediation and resolution of disputes between families, educational settings, and professionals.
