SEN Operational Lead - East London Local Authority
£400 - £500 per day
Initial 6 month contract
2 Days per week on site (minimum requirement)
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced SEN Operational Lead to provide operational leadership and support the ongoing improvement of our EHCP and SEND service.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience of SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Regulations 2014, and the SEND Code of Practice: 0 to 25 years
- Proven experience proving operational leadership within Local Authority SEND
- Experience managing complex SEND operations including EHCP Assessments, annual reviews and preparation for adulthood
Duties include:
- Support the Head of SEND in implementing strategic priorities, SEND reforms, and local improvement plans
- Provide strategic oversight of the full EHC pathway
- Lead performance management, quality assurance, and service improvement activity to improve the quality and timeliness of EHCP processes
