Humanities Teacher

We're working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Blackpool seeking a Humanities Teacher to join their team on a long-term maternity cover from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4 in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where staff are encouraged to collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to a positive school culture.

The role will involve delivering a range of Humanities subjects, with a focus on your specialism (History, Geography or Religious Education). You'll be joining a collaborative team that is focused on engaging learners, building critical thinking skills, and supporting strong academic progress.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
• Specialism in History, Geography or RE (desirable)
• Strong classroom management and the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• A passion for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons
• Commitment to maintaining continuity and high standards of teaching and learning
