Richard Shorrock Wins Best Temporary Consultant at Global Recruiter Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that Divisional Manager, Richard Shorrock, has won Best Temporary Consultant at this year's Global Recruiter Awards! 

Held at the restaurant, Lio London, the Global Recruiter Awards celebrates and honours what they describe as the ‘leading lights’ of the recruitment industry. 

The Global Recruiter Awards highlight the strengths and achievements in the recruitment industry, and recognise how companies have demonstrated an amazing performance in the recruitment sector over the past 12 months.

After years of speaking directly with professionals within the industry, Shorrock identified a need for a centralised Career Hub where candidates could access the tools and advice required to begin or progress their career within SEND. 

Richard regularly speaks with professionals who are interested in a career in SEND, but with no clear defined paths into SEND, professionals are dissuaded by a convoluted pathway and head in a different direction.

The SEND sector itself is in the midst of an ambitious reform to better support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Shorrocks vision was clear, to revolutionise the SEND employment landscape and attract exceptional talent, for meaningful reform to take place. 

The development of the Career Hub perfectly aligns with Richard's aspirations for Spencer Clarke Group to be recognised as the leading SEND agency in the UK and underscores his unwavering commitment to developing SEND professionals.
