We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Youth Worker to join a dynamic SEMH School in Bolton. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing targeted intervention and mentoring to pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support.

Your Role:

• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people to help them engage in learning

• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions focused on behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills

• Support pupils in managing challenges both inside and outside the classroom

• Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to create consistent support plans

• Promote resilience, confidence, and personal growth among pupils

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with young people displaying challenging behaviour or SEMH needs

• A calm, patient, and confident approach to de-escalation and behaviour management

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A background in youth work, mentoring, or alternative provision (desirable)

• Relevant training such as Team Teach or equivalent (advantageous)
