Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £65 - £80 per day

Location: Preston, Chorley & Blackpool

SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School

Mon-Fri 5 days a week

*** 8:30am - 3:30pm ***

We are looking to recruit inspirational SEN Teaching Assistants (TA) to join a school in Preston. The school caters for children between the ages of 5-16 years old, with special education needs (SEN).

All educational experiences are welcome!

This is an excellent opportunity for anybody wanting to build their experience working in a School, alongside special needs pupils, and trials will be offered to successful candidates ASAP.

Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting children with special needs of a SEN i.e autism/ ADHD/ SLD
  • Assisting the class teacher by taking part in classes and supporting specific pupils 1:1!
  • This is an excellent opportunity for anybody wanting to build their experience working with special education needs
  • Enthusiastic and friendly approach with a resilient attitude is desired

You should have:

  • Some experience working with SEN children and/or support worker/ healthcare assistant or having completed further education around Psychology or mental health
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Online Update Service (or be prepared to obtain one for a fee).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
