Spencer Clarke Group are working in partnership with a specialist school seeking an exceptional SEMH Teacher to join their team from September.

This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on building relationships, creating positive outcomes and supporting students who require a more personalised approach to education.

The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, many of whom have experienced disrupted educational journeys. The successful candidate will be instrumental in helping students re-engage with learning and achieve both academically and personally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching across your subject specialism.
  • Adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Monitoring progress and celebrating student achievements.
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working with SEMH, SEND or vulnerable learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A resilient, empathetic and proactive approach.
