Salary: Up to £300 per day DOE
Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a view to being extended
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday.
Fully remote working will be considered.
Our client, a local authority in Southeast England is looking to appoint a SEND Officer to their team.
As a SEND Officer you will be responsible for carrying day to day casework and managing the EHC needs assessment process for a defined number of cases.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- The statutory assessment process for a set locality/caseload.
- Ensuring that EHC plans are amended within the statutory timescale.
- Ensuring annual reviews are actioned in a timely manner.
We are looking to speak with experienced SEND Officers who have a minimum of 12 months working in a similar role for a local authority.
