We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the educational and personal development of pupils with a range of additional needs.

The role is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
- Assist in the delivery of personalised learning programmes and interventions.
- Support pupils with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Encourage engagement, participation, and independence within the classroom.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and parents/carers.
- Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Previous SEND experience is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education, childcare, health and social care, or SEND support are desirable.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
