SEN Teacher - Blackpool
Pay: From £150 per day (pay to scale for long-term placements)
Contract Types: Full-time | Part-time | Long-term | Temporary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to support pupils with additional learning needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in Blackpool.

The Role


As an SEN Teacher, you will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential by:


  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals

  • Monitoring pupil progress and promoting confidence, independence, and personal development

Requirements


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Previous SEN teaching experience is desirable

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
