Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team at an SEN (Special Educational Needs) school. This role is vital in helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas.

• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are maintained to high standards.

• Refill supplies such as soap, hand towels, and toilet tissue.

• Safely use cleaning equipment and materials in line with health and safety guidelines.

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site manager.

• Support with deep-cleaning during holiday periods (as required).

Requirements

• Valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one (essential).

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred, especially in a school or similar setting.

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times.

• Understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean environment in an SEN setting.
