Project Manager, Highways Construction Delivery
Location: South East
Rate: Negotiable
Contract: 6 Months
Spencer Clarke Group are working with a public sector client to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction delivery of a major highways scheme.
This is an interim role focused on end-to-end delivery of a single multi-million-pound construction project, with a preference for candidates who have delivered highways structures.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead construction delivery on a complex highways capital scheme
- Manage programme, cost, risk, change control and key stakeholder relationships
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to drive safe, compliant delivery
- Oversee site activities and ensure quality, reporting and governance are maintained
- Ensure effective contract administration and delivery against agreed outcomes
About you:
- Proven project management experience delivering highways construction schemes (structures experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, stakeholder management and reporting
- Comfortable working in a local authority/public sector environment
- Able to attend site/office as required
