An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Portfolio Associate role to join a well-established Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors in Gerrards Cross on a permanent basis. 

As a Portfolio Associate, you’ll play a vital role in providing high quality financial services to a broad range of clients.

You’ll be someone naturally great with accounts and communication because the role includes looking after a portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns.

The key to success is having the experience and skillset to provide the high standards the practice demands.

About the role

Based in the Gerrards Cross office (Hybrid Role), you will be responsible for: 

  • Looking after a portfolio of clients
  • Bookkeeping
  • Management Accounts
  • VAT returns

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

  • 3 years recent UK Practice experience
  • Bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns experience
  • Xero software experience
  • ACCA / ACA qualification or near completion
  • Good communicator (verbally & written)

The firm is well-established and has roots dating back to the 1920’s and provide a wide range of services to clients including accountancy, audit and assurance, taxation (both planning and compliance), business services, corporate finance, company secretarial, and much more.

  • Salary: Dependant on Experience & Qualifications.
  • Benefits: Hybrid working after initial induction (3 days in office 2 working from home), pension contributions, annual leave plus the opportunity to buy an extra 5 days leave, gym membership, regular social events, nice office environment with regular social events.
  • Contract type: Permanent.
  • Hours: Hybrid working after completing initial induction (3 days in office 2 working from home), Flexible working offered with core working hours 10am-4pm.
