Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: Rawtenstall

Are you passionate about supporting children's education and development? We are currently seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Rawtenstall. The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning, and possess valuable experience working within a classroom setting, specifically with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification: Minimum of Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a classroom environment with a comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work with preferred age groups or across various year levels as needed.


  • Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging educational activities.
  • Provide support to students with varying abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with students to monitor progress and provide additional support where necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with both students and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
