We are seeking a reliable General Cover Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom supervision across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, early career teacher, or experienced cover supervisor looking to work within a supportive and dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subject areas.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and lesson outcomes.
- Uphold school policies and procedures at all times.
- Support the wider school community as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility and confidence to teach across different subjects and year groups.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
