Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join our client on a term-long contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Food Technology to students at Key Stages 3 and 4. This role requires a teacher who is passionate about inspiring young minds and can contribute to the ongoing success of a 'Good' rated school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Technology.
  • Create a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food and nutrition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
