Job description
Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a local authority in the West Midlands to assist with the appointment of an Interim Flood Risk Officer.
We are looking to speak to experienced Flood Risk Officers with experience of undertaking duties expected of a Lead Drainage Officer and assessing Ordinary Watercourse Consent applications who have worked within the public sector, ideally for a local authority previously.
Contract Details
Pay Scale – £20 - £22.50 p/h. The hourly rate is potentially negotiable dependent on experience so please still get in touch if you work to a higher rate.
Location – This is an office based role, with site visits and occasionally working from home
Contract Length – 6-month contract highly likely to be extended to 12 months
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the management of flood risk throughout the County.
