Finance Analyst
A Local Authority on the South Coast are looking to appoint a talented Finance Analyst on an Interim basis, are working with Spencer Clarke Group to find a successful candidate.
What's on offer:
- Rates: £400 - £500 per day, inside IR35.
*Negotiable based on experience

- Contract type: Contract (37 hrs a week)
- Hours: 09:00 -17:00
About the role
The financial analyst's primary role is to support senior finance staff in providing strategic financial advice to the organisation - the post provides insightful analysis and options appraisals across the whole organisation.
Responsibilities:
Based in Hampshire:
- Preparation of financial and performance reporting analysis to identify key insights and value chains in front line services.
- Perform research, benchmarking and analysis to compare performance and KPIs across the organisation, sector and wider economic environment.
- Monitor the performance of budget holders in their duties through the use of analytical techniques and reasoning.
About you:
You will have the following experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- An understanding of investment appraisal techniques and ability to evaluate options.
- Detailed knowledge of Local Government regulations is desirable.
