Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside a Local Authority in Somerset to appoint an Estates Surveyor on a 6-month contract.


As a successful Estates Surveyor, your duties will be:

  • Conducting rent review and lease renewal negotiations.
  • A full tenant management service including the granting of landlord’s consent to tenants
  • To undertake all forms of valuations for commercial acquisition; disposal; asset management; statutory; investment or accounting purposes
  • Disposal of assets.
  • Acquisition of assets.


To be considered, you will have the following knowledge/experience:

  • Qualified (RICS ) with relevant post qualification experience.
  • Well-developed negotiating skills with a background in property management appropriate to the designated portfolio for this post.
  • Landlord and tenant and property management experience
  • A Commercial management background
  • Experience working with a Local Authority highly desirable


What’s on offer

  • Salary: Negotiable to market rates
  • Contract type: 6 Months
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 37 hrs
  • Location: WFH, Site visits around the Somerset district required
