Up to 25K to 30K Basic P/A (Depending on Experience can be higher) + Bonuses

Key Responsibilities

One of the country’s largest motor trade organisations is currently recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to work closely with the Data Analytics Manager and the marketing team. We are a trailblazing, award-winning company, operating in the thriving automotive business community of Lancashire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analysing data using a range of methodologies. The results will be used to influence and shape the expansion and future growth vision of the group and its range of brands.

What we’ll need you to do:

  • Manage, produce and optimise regular KPI reporting
  • Assist in developing and building automated KPI reporting and dashboards
  • Support and work closely with the Data Analytics Manager to analyse data, interpret trends, and present the results in a way that can be easily understood
  • Analyse primary and secondary data to draw insight to inform marketing and business decision making
  • Deliver insights through visualisation tools, e.g. PowerPoint, Survey Monkey and Excel
  • Be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of marketing activities
  • Turn analytics and insights from marketing and transactional data into actionable recommendations for acquisition and retention strategies, including segmentation, targeting and customer experience  
  • Work with different departments to evolve how they see data and how they can use it to get the best out of their teams
  • Work with the Data Analytics Manager to create and manage the business analytics support process, including requirements management, prioritisation and execution


You’ll be an ideal fit if you…

  • Are passionate about data and the power of analytics
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a data analyst role
  • Are experienced at handling large data sets and organising them into easy-to-read dashboards
  • Have good working knowledge and proficiency of Python, MySql, Google Big Query or similar
  • Are used to creating reports in Excel, Google Sheets and Google Analytics
  • Have strong data visualisation skills
  • Have a customer centric approach to problem solving and data requests
  • Are confident presenting research and findings to management with the ability to communicate complex data methodologies and findings in easy-to-understand language
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple projects to ambitious deadlines is the norm
  • Love being part of a team and an organisation where collaboration is given and expected
  • Sweat the small stuff – excellent attention to detail is a must
  • Are good at planning, project management and time management
