Spencer Clarke Group are working exclusively with Cardiff Council on a project to recruit several Contact Tracers for the councils COVID response team.
As a contract tracer you will work from home for the duration of the contract and full training will be provided virtually.
Pay Scale – Starting from £15 per hour – Negotiable depending on experience.
Location – Working from home – ICT Equipment to be provided by the council.
Contract Length – 3 month rolling contract highly likely to be until March 2022 with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
What will I be doing day to day?
Working as a member of local Community Contact Tracing Team the main responsibilities of the role are to:
§ Review the lists of contacts provided by Regional teams/other sources.
§ Undertake case interviews with individuals who have already been identified as symptomatic and/or confirmed as having Covid -19.
§ Perform an initial public health risk assessment of Covid-19 cases identified for contact tracing in line with the contact tracing and management protocol and further protocols or guidance as indicated.
§ Determine high or low risk contact and allocating calls to contact advisers.
§ Complete electronic dataset that will calculate risk of transmission.
§ Manage complex contacts/calls escalated by contact advisers.
§ Advise individuals on next steps.
§ Support, reassure and document conversations on E system
§ Escalate challenging or complex cases or incidents and outbreaks to the team lead
