Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a Local Authority in North Yorkshire to assist with the appointment of an Interim Construction Manager on a 3-6 month contract.
We are looking to speak to experienced Construction Managers, with significant knowledge of construction management, housing development and overseeing quality on site, who have ideally worked for a Local Authority previously.
Pay Scale – INSIDE IR35 £268 - £303 per day (the day rate is negotiable dependent on experience, so please still get in touch if you work to a higher rate)
Location – Remote working, with site visits needed occasionally around North Yorkshire
Contract Length – 3-6 month contract
The key duties of the role are to;
- Take the lead on the day to day running of the business, reporting to the board, ensuring their land pipeline is maintained and business plan is delivered. You will co-ordinate with a large number of contractors and build good working relationships with them in order to deliver projects on time and in budget.
- Manage the contractual side of every stage of the build, working closely with contractors, architects, engineers, planners, surveyors and other building professionals in planning and delivery.
- Manage a small team of Project Managers across 3 - 4 sites at a time and motivate them to ensure a high standard of work is completed safely, within the agreed timeframe, to quality and budget.
