Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join one of our private clients based in the Stoke-on-Trent area. You will be part of a specialist service for neurological rehabilitation and complex care. You'll play a key role in delivering specialist assessments, interventions, and staff training while working closely within a multidisciplinary team. What you'll do:

  • Conduct high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for service users with complex needs.
  • Participate in the assessment of referrals and provide initial evaluations for new service users.
  • Deliver both direct and indirect psychological support.
  • Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans based on comprehensive psychological understanding.
  • Make autonomous clinical decisions while maintaining professional and legal responsibility for care.
  • Uphold high standards of practice in line with HCPC guidelines, professional standards, and company policies.

What we're looking for:

  • Hold BPS-recognised qualifications, HCPC registration, and Chartered Psychologist status with relevant postgraduate training.
  • Have experience applying evidence-based psychological practice in clinical or neuro settings, including work with cognitive impairments.
  • Be an approved BPS supervisor with a track record in research and project-based work.
