Spencer Clarke Group are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor based in West Sussex.
Our client have over fifty years Architecture and Surveying experience in the residential, commercial, and education sectors.
They are now looking for an accredited Building Surveyor to join their expanding team.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Carrying out building surveys
- Instructing on the preservation/conservation of historic buildings
- Providing advice on the health and safety aspects of buildings
- Advising on boundary disputes & party wall issues
- Preparing insurance assessments and claims
- Co-ordinating and monitoring contract administration projects
- Overseeing the project team throughout the project stages – feasibility/planning/building regs/ construction issues drawings/specification of works/ JCT contract documentation/ drawing revisions
Our ideal Building Surveyor will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Building Surveying
- Residential surveying experience
- Qualification recognized by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
