Job Title: Behavior Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Clitheroe, Lancashire (10 minutes drive outside of Clitheroe)
Position Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
- Work closely with the identified Key Stage 2 child, providing one-on-one support to address challenging behavior and promote positive engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement behavior management strategies and interventions tailored to the individual needs of the student.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the child's social and emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records of the child's progress, behavior incidents, and interventions implemented.
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting, preferably with a focus on behavior support.
- A clear understanding of behavior management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the holistic development of students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in behavior support or a related field.
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Relevant training or qualifications in behavior support or a related field.
- Full-time position.
- Term time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
