Advanced Social Worker - Mainstream Fostering Team
Full time temporary contract
£35p/h
Hybrid working, but ideally available to site min 3 days per week (Friday essential)
Locaed in South Gloucestershire
Our Local Authority client are recruiting an Advanced Social Worker for their Mainstream Fostering Team in South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake thorough Form F assessments of prospective foster carers in line with national standards and agency policies.
- Present assessment reports to fostering panels with professional recommendations.
- Provide regular, structured supervision to approved foster carers, ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.
- Work collaboratively to identify suitable matches between children and foster carers.
- Contribute to placement planning meetings, ensuring that foster placements meet children's individual needs.
Requirements:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- In-depth understanding of fostering regulations, National Minimum Standards, and relevant legislation (e.g. Children Act 1989, Care Planning Regulations).
