Adult Social Care Solicitor
Rate: £50-£60 per hour - Negotiable DOE

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Solicitor on behalf of a well-respected Local Authority based in West Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality, solution-focused legal service across Adult Social Care and Court of Protection matters, playing a crucial role in safeguarding the Council's interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and advise on a varied caseload of Adult Social Care legal matters, including Court of Protection applications.
- Draft, revise, and advise on complex legal documentation across the Council.
- Conduct research, interpret legislation, and advise on relevant legal changes impacting Adult Social Care.
- Prepare and issue Court proceedings and undertake advocacy where appropriate, including contested hearings.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx).
- Proven advocacy experience within the Court of Protection.
- Knowledge of local government law and experience working within a public sector environment (desirable).
