Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Accommodation Placements Adviser for a local authority client based in North London.  

 

As an Accommodation Placements Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and extending commercial hotel bookings, addressing rent accounts, and handling social behaviour concerns from clients in temporary accommodation.

 

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Work collaboratively with letting agents, commercial hotels, and internal departments to effectively manage accommodation extensions.
  • Monitor and extend commercial hotel bookings for individuals in temporary accommodation.
  • Manage rent accounts and address any social behaviour issues from clients residing in temporary accommodation.
  • Verify invoices to ensure accurate payment and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

 

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within housing allocations or temporary accommodation services.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and procedures is desirable but not essential.

 

What’s on offer

Salary: £19+ per hour *negotiable depending on experience* 

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

 

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

 

Hours: Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
